I cannot express how grateful I am for the influence you had on my teenage life. I was introduced to your albums by my youth leader. I spent many hours baby sitting for his children with you for company. 'Girls song' made a great impression on me at that time.
I have never been able to part with my own albums even though we have long since parted with the means to play them. I am so glad that it is now possible to down load and enjoy them once again.
Thank you for the part that you have played in my Christian journey. This is like being reunited with an old friend.
God Bless you.
Town & Country: Bathford.
Wish you'd come back here, in desperate need of your ministry and beautiful songs.
Gods blessings to you both.
Thanks, from the heart and soul, for the wonderful, honest, open, real prayer songs, they helped me so much when I ran out of prayers.
Still play them all very regularly, life wouldn't be the same without them.
Brian, from Bathford Chapel, died last year. Not sure how well you knew him. Peter, who did a bit on your Jonah song died a few years ago.

I became a Christian when I was 11, I had a difficult childhood but your music really helped me connect to Our Father. I even went to see you in England, at a church. I am now working in the Middle East, serving Him. Thank you for the songs you gave, I still recall them, all these years later. God really used your ministry to shelter me. These words are few but come with grateful thanks.

Dear BenjaminThank you for the message. Very little of Len's music was ever recorded in any written format, so I'm afraid I cannot send you the chords. The good news is that the lyrics for all of Len's songs are available on the website - go to the bottom of this page:

I accepted Christ in late 1972 in England. As a new believer I found other new believers and we formed a small Bible study group that still gets together today. All of us began a search to replace music we were listening to with Christian music. Your first album was one I found and it was one of my favorites. I still know all of the songs by heart. I was delighted to run across your music on the WEB and immediately ordered that album. This fall we have a planned reunion of that small group....can't wait to let them know I found your music again! Thank you for being faithful through the years!!
Town & Country: Addis Abab, Ethiopia
In church today I saw in the hymn book Charles Wesley's "All Ye That Pass By" and into my head popped the words and tune of your "Is It Nothing To You?" from your first album. I couldn't for the life of me remember where I had learned the song (I'm now in my late 50s and a doctor in Ethiopia with SIM) so a quick Internet search and I now have a head full of happy memories of my teenage years listening to some seminal Christian music, including yours. Thank you! I'd love to know if your song was inspired by the Wesley hymn?

I loved the old songs I know by heart. I have been playing your songs all day today. I feel so blessed today. Thank you.

Hi Len. Many years ago my life was a complete shambles but one day when I was really down, so much so I was considering suicide; I heard a record of yours called "A lonely heart, a lonely soul, crossed the world one day".
This record changed my life, it gave me hope. Since that day I have committed my life to Christ.
I would love to get a copy of this record, can you help. I have been asked several times to give witness but would love to play this record before I do so.

My uncle, Herschel Doug Fincher, and you came to visit us in El Dorado, Arkansas when I was a child. You gave us an album that my Mom still has. I remember the stories of huge snakes you guys told. LOL Herschel passed away a few years ago. Not sure if you two kept in touch over the years. My parents were talking about you this past Christmas when we went to visit and how beautiful your music was. Best wishes, Elicia Maline

Town & Country: kampala, uganda (east africa)
hi Len, ( i hope this is Len Magee) its only today that i discovered your name and i am so happy.
in 1973 i joined secondary school in my country Uganda (which by then was under a military dictatorship led by a military officer with a deranged mind who captured power in a bloody coup and made himself president. and thereafter he commited the most gruesome violation of human rights: (ever heard of Amin??? well he is long dead now! and finally God appointed another man (president museveni, our current president) to bring peace, sanity and progress (which have evaded africa for centuries) to my country, thanks be to Jesus.
anyway it was at that time at 15 years of age, that i gave my life to Christ. soon after our group of born again believers started shaking up our secondary school for Jesus. we formed a small choir which we named Gospel Choir. armed only with a piano where i was the pianist, we started christian pop. our most popular songwas called:
are you in the ark?"God looked down upon the world ......
Are you in the ark, or are you outside, never hesitate you will be too late ...."
This song became our anthem. It had helped me to receive Jesus as Lord and i also used it with my group to shake the teens at school and many gave their lives to Christ. We sang other songs and did concerts every Sunday night at school and i treasure those memories; of the times that gave me a solid Christian foundation on which i walk today ( and thank you for that song).
today i tried to remember the words of that song and i could remember only one line and one line of the chorus. so i turned to the internet and i discovered you as the song writer. i am praising The Lord so much for your life which touched many of us unknowingly. it is only today that i have read your story and wish to express gratitude to the Lord for sending you to the earth and for writing this song and many others which today i have traced back to you.
I am 56 years this year, married and raising a Christian family.
I have never found out who brought the song to us in Uganda, Africa and my little town Fort Portal, but it was a song that touched many and moved mountains of sin out of people delivering them on the cross of our Lord Jesus.
I am grateful that The Lord used you to impact many of us so far away from where you were. my brother your efforts in serving Him were not in vain.
when you look back on your life and ministry, be delighted that when you received Jesus and decided to serve Him you were touching many hearts, and to this i say thank you Len.
God bless you and best regards to your wife (Heather, i just saw her name on the internet) and the believers at the Grace Ministries fellowship.
30th jan 2014.
how i wish you could visit uganda, (the pearl of africa)
Town & Country: Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur
Dear Pastor Len, I hope you're the right person. You came to Malaysia in 1982 to preach in Youth Rally in small town call Klang. I was 13 than entering into secondary school, and gave my heart to the Lord after your preaching, in fact you look at me and said son one day you will be saving Jesus, not knowing much about that at that age i just kept the word in my heart. This year I am turning 45 this and celebrating 32 years of salvation, on top of that I am celebrating 25 years of Full Time Christian Ministry. I want say thank you for preaching and coming to Malaysia at the early days of my life....I wish I can see you and give you a hug, if not on earth than in Heaven with our Father.
